Terms & Conditions and General Information    

Prices: All prices and inclusions are based on rates in effect at the time of advertising, and are subject to change.

Not Included in Tour Price: Items of a personal nature; passport and visa fees; taxes; and any other items not listed in the included features.

Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of reservation. A $400 per person deposit is required on all tours. Deposits for tours that include Cruises may vary.  In addition, full payment for certain airline tickets will be required at the time of booking, which will be non-refundable once issued. Full payment is required for all reservations made within 60 days of departure.

Form of Payment: We accept all major credit cards (i.e. American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover Card), as well as checks and money orders when reservations are received by mail. Third party payment is not accepted. Note that charges will appear on your credit card statement will appear as ABC Destinations.

Travel Protection Plan: We strongly recommend the purchase of our comprehensive Travel Protection Plan, for which the premium is added to your initial invoice. You will receive a detailed description of the plan, and must notify us in writing if you wish to decline. Once paid, premium for the Travel Protection plan is non refundable. The Travel Protection Plan cannot be purchased once full payment is made.

Late Reservations: Reservations made 21 days or less than the departure date are subject to a $50 per booking fee. Credit card, certified check, or money orders are the only methods of payment accepted for late reservations.  All monies will be refunded in full if we are unable to confirm the travel arrangements requested.

Passenger Names: Passengers are responsible for providing us with their names exactly as they appear on their passports. We will not be held responsible if the airline denies boarding due to name related discrepancies on your travel documents.

Travelers with Disabilities: Any disability requiring special attention should be reported to us at when making a reservation. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate special needs, but are not responsible for any denial of services by airlines, hotels and/or other independent suppliers. We regret that we are not able to provide individual assistance to travelers for walking, dining, getting on or off motor coaches and/or other forms of transportation included in our Tours. A qualified companion must accompany travelers requiring such assistance.

Final Payment: Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

Revisions: In addition to the penalties imposed by suppliers, a fee of $50 per booking is applied for revisions made to a booking 60 days or more prior to the departure date. Revisions made less than 60 days are subject to our cancellation policy and penalties.

Cancellation Penalties: Our cancellations penalties are strictly enforced. The effective date of cancellations will be the first weekday on which a written cancellation notice is received either by fax, mail, or e-mail. The cancellation fees are calculated at the applicable percentage of the total package price, and are as follows:

61 days or more 5% (max. $50 per person)
60 to 46 days 10%
45 to 31 days 20%
30 to 15 days 40%
14 to 8 days 50%
7 days or less & no show 100%

Passports & Visas: A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling internationally. Many countries require your passport to be valid for six (6) months after your return date. All non-U.S. citizens must contact the respective consulate(s) for information on visas and/or other documents they may require.

Final Travel Documents: Travel documents will be mailed 21 days prior to departure via US mail for bookings that are paid in full. If a 2nd day or Next day delivery method is required or requested, a $15 fee will be charged.

Revisions in Travel Arrangements: Due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be an occasions where we are required to make changes to your planned travel arrangements. We reserve the right to make modifications on conveyances, hotels, etc. as deemed necessary.  If this happens, we will not be responsible for travel arrangements you have made on your own in conjunction with our Tours.

Air Transportation: We recommend that you call the airline to reconfirm your flight(s) 72 hours prior to departure, and before you leave home for the airport to verify the status and exact departure time. Seat assignment rules vary with each airline; some may take your seat requests in advance, while others may restrict seat assignments solely to airport check. Plan to be at the airline check-in counter at least 3 hours prior to departure for all international flights.

Hotels: All hotel accommodations are with private bath. Check-in times are generally 3 to 4 pm, and checkout times are from 11am to 12 noon.

Public Holidays: Facilities such as museums and banks, restaurants and sightseeing tours maybe closed on certain dates due to, but not limited to, religious holidays and national and regional celebrations.

Gratuities: Tips for local guides and hotel staff are not included in the package prices. We suggest you use your discretion based on the quality of the service received.

Responsibility: ABC Destinations acts only as a sales agent for any airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, transfer and sightseeing companies, or other service providers named on your air ticket and/or other travel documents such as your itinerary (“Suppliers”). ABC Destinations is also not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers, or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules. ABC Destinations assumes no responsibility for, and shall not be liable for, any refund, personal injury, property damage (including damaged baggage), or other loss (including lost baggage), accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under ABC Destinations’ control. ABC Destinations has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, we recommend contacting the travel warnings section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, we recommend contacting the Centers For Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full responsibility for checking any and all passport, visa, vaccination, and/or other entry requirements for your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release ABC Destinations from all claims arising out of any matter covered by this paragraph.

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, to this statement of Responsibility, to this brochure, or any other information relating in any way to your trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in New Jersey, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then existent.

We are not responsible for typographical errors and omissions. These conditions apply to ABC Destinations, LLC doing business as Spanish Heritage Tours and The Women’s Travel Club.
